Is this safe for keratin treated hair? Thank you: Yes! All IGK products, apart from IGK permanent hair color, are formulated without sodium chloride, and all IGK products are formulated without sulfates SLS and SLES, making them safe to use on keratin treated hair.
Is this only for blonde hair. I just got my Carmel highlights and I don’t want it to get brassy. Can I used this product?: Mixed Feelings works to combat brassy tones in blonde and gray hair, but may offer a slight tonal shift to darker hair colors. For a more visual aid, you can view a helpful dosage chart for Mixed Feelings on the product page! Otherwise, you might consider trying our Color Depositing Masks in shades like A La Plage.
Is this permanent or temporary? Does it wash out with shampoo or are the effects cumulative?: Mixed Feelings offers semi-permanent violet toning that will eventually wash away from the hair. Color longevity varies based hair color and texture and we recommend using the toning drops as often as you like or need.
Can I use this everyday?: We recommend using Mixed Feelings as a color treatment. To remove brassy tones, mix it into your shampoo, conditioner, or leave-in stylers as needed.
I am very sensitive to scents depending on what the smell is like. What does the scent in this product smell like?: Yes! Out Color Depositing masks will absolutely work to offer color deposit on previously lightened hair. Depending on the tone of your natural hair, we would recommend either Brown Bella (more cool-toned) or Electric Bronze (more warm-toned) to help blend your new growth with your previously lightened hair.
