APPLICATION
The basics: Color payoff is determined by starting hair color + porosity of strands. Color depositing masks are not designed to cover grays, lift or lighten. The darker the hair, the more subtle the color depositing effect. To see which shade will work best for you, please reference our individual shade charts!
To start: Apply gloves and conduct a strand test first on dry hair to determine desired results. Apply color to one strand of dry hair, leaving on for 5 minutes. Rinse. If color is too sheer, conduct another strand test and leave it on for a longer period of time.
For a sheer color effect: With gloves, apply to clean, wet hair and leave on for 1–5 minutes. Comb through for even distribution and best results. Rinse thoroughly.
For an intense color effect: With gloves, apply to dry hair and leave on for 10–15 minutes. Comb through for even distribution and best results. Rinse thoroughly.
